A high-carbon variant of stainless steel 304, stainless steel 304H has a carbon content of 0.04 to 0.10 percent and contains 18–20% chromium and 8–11% nickel. In high-temperature settings, SS 304H channels provide exceptional mechanical performance and a tensile strength of 585–750 MPa.
