18–20% chromium, 8–10.5% nickel, and up to 0.08% carbon make up the austenitic alloy known as stainless steel 304. It offers excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures and exceptional corrosion resistance in a variety of settings. In addition to having outstanding formability and weldability, SS 304 foils have a tensile strength of 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of roughly 205 MPa. This alloy is ideal for forming, stamping, and other precision fabrication processes because it is non-magnetic when annealed and retains its strength and structural integrity under mechanical and thermal stress.
