The nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy Nimonic 90, which also contains titanium and aluminium, is made to withstand oxidation and be strong at high temperatures. About 53% nickel, 18–20% chromium, and 15–18% cobalt are usually present, with titanium and aluminium improving precipitation hardening. The alloy exhibits outstanding creep and fatigue resistance up to 920°C, as well as a tensile strength of approximately 965 MPa to 1100 MPa.
