Copper Tungsten 80/20 sheet combines the exceptional electrical and thermal conductivity of copper with the superior hardness and thermal stability of tungsten. It is composed of 80% tungsten and 20% copper by weight. This alloy has exceptional wear resistance, a low thermal expansion, and a high melting point (above 3000°C). It has a density of 15.8–16.3 g/cm³, a high compressive strength, and a good electrical conductivity (approximately 45% IACS). Because of these qualities, it is perfect for high-temperature, high-stress settings where durability and dimensional stability are essential.
