Nickel (72% min), chromium (14–17%), and iron (6–10%) make up Inconel 600 Angle, a nickel-chromium-iron alloy. Tiny amounts of manganese, copper, and silicon are also present. In both acidic and alkaline conditions, this composition offers outstanding resistance to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion. It has a yield strength of about 310 MPa, a tensile strength of about 655 MPa, and an elongation of about 30%. Inconel 600 is perfect for structural use in high-stress, corrosive environments because it has good weldability and machinability and retains its mechanical integrity over a wide temperature range.
