The main constituents of Inconel 601 Channel, a nickel-chromium-iron alloy, are nickel (58–63%), chromium (21–25%), and iron (balance), with trace amounts of silicon, carbon, and aluminium. Up to 1200°C, this alloy retains its mechanical strength and provides exceptional resistance to oxidation at high temperatures. It has good elongation and formability, with a yield strength of about 300 MPa and a tensile strength of roughly 600–750 MPa.
