About 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 4% molybdenum make up Super Duplex Steel S32760, a high-alloy stainless steel that has been strengthened and made more resistant to corrosion by adding nitrogen. Its ferritic-austenitic microstructure provides a well-balanced set of characteristics. Together with exceptional toughness and ductility, the alloy exhibits exceptional tensile strength (~750 MPa) and yield strength (~550 MPa). It is appropriate for highly corrosive and high-pressure environments due to its remarkable resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion caused by chloride.
