With the addition of carbon, titanium, and aluminium, the main constituents of the Incoloy 800 series alloys are nickel (30–35%), iron (39.5% min), and chromium (19–23%). Because of their higher carbon content and regulated grain size, Incoloy 800H and 800HT variants provide improved creep and rupture strength. These alloys have tensile strengths between 450 and 650 MPa and retain their mechanical integrity at temperatures as high as 1100°C. They are perfect for high-temperature structural applications and corrosive environments because of their exceptional resistance to oxidation, carburisation, and sulfidation.
