With 99.2% titanium and trace amounts of aluminum and vanadium, Grade 2 offers exceptional weldability as well as resistance to chemicals and seawater. 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium make up Grade 5, or Ti-6Al-4V, which has increased strength and fatigue resistance.
