About 99% pure nickel makes up Nickel Alloy 201 (UNS N02201), a low-carbon variant of Nickel 200. In reducing environments, its formability and corrosion resistance are improved by the trace amounts of copper, iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon. Mechanically, it provides elongation of 30–40%, yield strength of 207–345 MPa, and tensile strength of 379–517 MPa. It is perfect for applications involving moderate temperatures and corrosive media because of its exceptional weldability, fabrication qualities, non-magnetic nature, and excellent thermal and electrical conductivity.
