Super Duplex Steel Channels are composed of approximately 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and nitrogen, with very low carbon content. This dual-phase alloy (ferritic-austenitic) provides a superior combination of high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It offers a yield strength of around 550 MPa and tensile strength up to 800 MPa, nearly double that of conventional stainless steels. Super Duplex also exhibits high toughness, even at low temperatures, along with excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, erosion, and fatigue. These properties make it ideal for demanding structural and marine applications.
