Super Duplex Steel S32750 (UNS S32750) contains approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and added nitrogen, creating a balanced ferritic-austenitic microstructure. This alloy delivers high tensile strength (~795 MPa) and yield strength (~550 MPa), nearly double that of austenitic stainless steels. It provides exceptional resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, pitting (PREN > 40), and crevice corrosion. The alloy also offers good weldability, high fatigue strength, and excellent impact toughness, even at sub-zero temperatures. These properties make SDS 32750 channels suitable for structurally demanding and highly corrosive industrial environments.
