Super Duplex Steel is a high-alloy stainless steel containing approximately 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and nitrogen for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. It has a dual-phase microstructure—roughly equal parts austenite and ferrite—giving it superior mechanical properties. Super Duplex offers a tensile strength of around 800 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 550 MPa, with excellent toughness and fatigue resistance. It performs exceptionally well in chloride-rich environments and resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, making it ideal for extreme industrial conditions and high-pressure applications.
