Alloy Steel 20, often referred to as Carpenter 20, is composed of roughly 32–38% nickel, 19–21% chromium, along with molybdenum (2–3%), copper (3–4%), iron (the balance), and niobium for stabilization. Alloy 20 channels exhibit a tensile strength of about 550–750 MPa and a yield strength of around 240 MPa, along with impressive ductility and weldability.
