Aluminium 7050 Circle is a heat–treatable, high–strength aluminium alloy that contains aluminium, zinc (5.7–6.7%), magnesium (1.9–2.6%), and copper (2.0–2.6%). It is designed with high stress corrosion resistance and possesses high mechanical strength and toughness in thicker sections. The common mechanical properties are tensile strength of 490–540 MPa, yield strength of 420–470 MPa, and elongation of 10–11%. This alloy is known for its excellent fatigue resistance and high hardness, making it ideal for critical structural components in aerospace and defense applications.
