Class 1 plates have a minimum yield strength of 275 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 415 to 585 MPa, while Class 2 offers a higher yield strength of 310 MPa and tensile strength between 450 and 620 MPa. Both classes undergo normalization and tempering to improve creep resistance and durability during continuous thermal and pressure cycling.
