About 22–23% chromium, 5–6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and trace elements like manganese, carbon, and nitrogen make up Duplex Steel S32205, a nitrogen-enhanced duplex stainless steel. Excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength are provided by this well-balanced austenitic-ferritic structure. Excellent performance in challenging conditions is ensured by the material’s 450–620 MPa yield strength, 680–860 MPa tensile strength, and 25–40% elongation.
