Hastelloy C22 Slitting/Coils In addition to iron, cobalt, and trace amounts of manganese, coils are made up of roughly 56% nickel, 20–22.5% chromium, 12.5–14.5% molybdenum, and 2.5–3.5% tungsten. Excellent resistance to oxidising and reducing agents, such as ferric chlorides, nitric acid, and wet chlorine, is offered by this alloy.
