These alloys offer remarkable resistance to acids, chlorides, and oxidising and reducing agents. Hastelloy coils provide outstanding ductility, thermal stability, and high tensile strength (up to 100 ksi). They have outstanding formability and weldability and are appropriate for high-performance applications in corrosive and hot conditions due to their resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking.
