BSK 46 is a micro-alloyed high tensile steel that typically contains around 0.20% carbon, up to 1.60% manganese, and trace amounts of silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, and other alloying elements. Its impressive properties are achieved through controlled rolling and micro-alloying techniques. BSK 46 boasts a minimum yield strength of 460 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from approximately 540 to 680 MPa. It also shows good elongation and impact strength, along with excellent weldability and cold-forming capabilities, making it ideal for structural and load-bearing applications where strength and weight efficiency are key.
