The nickel-iron-chromium alloy Incoloy 825 Angle has been enhanced with titanium (0.6–1.2%), copper (1.5–3%), and molybdenum (2.5–3.5%). Iron (balance), chromium (19.5–23.5%), and nickel (38–46%) make up its main constituents. Excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and reducing and oxidising acids is provided by this alloy. Its yield strength is about 220 MPa, its tensile strength is about 585 MPa, and its elongation is up to 30%. Because Incoloy 825 retains its mechanical integrity over a broad temperature range, it can be used in corrosive environments for both structural and pressure-bearing applications.
