Nickel (58–63%) and chromium (21–25%) make up the majority of Inconel 601 Foils, with trace amounts of carbon, silicon, and manganese as well as aluminium and iron. At high temperatures, this special composition offers exceptional resistance to oxidation and carburisation. The alloy has a yield strength of 30,000 psi (205 MPa), a tensile strength of about 80,000 psi (550 MPa), and an elongation of about 30%. Additionally, it offers strong creep and stress rupture. Because of its mechanical qualities and thermal stability, Inconel 601 is perfect for high-temperature foil applications in demanding settings.
