With trace amounts of iron, carbon, manganese, and silicon, Inconel 625 Foil is a nickel-based superalloy made up of nickel (58% min), chromium (20–23%), molybdenum (8–10%), and niobium (3.15–4.15%). It has outstanding mechanical qualities, such as a yield strength of 517 MPa, a tensile strength of about 930 MPa, and an elongation of up to 30%. Inconel 625 exhibits remarkable fatigue and stress-corrosion cracking resistance, as well as remarkable strength and resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures.
