Through age-hardening, titanium (0.35–0.85%) and aluminium (2.3–3.15%) are added to strengthen the nickel-copper alloy known as Monel K500 Channel. Nickel (63% min) and copper (27–33%) make up the base composition, with trace amounts of carbon, manganese, and iron. With a tensile strength of up to 1100 MPa, a yield strength of about 790 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 20%, this alloy demonstrates exceptional mechanical strength. Monel K500 is appropriate for harsh and delicate environments because it maintains its high strength over a wide temperature range, provides exceptional corrosion resistance, and is non-magnetic when annealed.
