Nickel (63% min), copper (27%–33%), aluminium (2.3–3.15%), and titanium (0.35–0.85%) are the main constituents of Monel K500 Circle, a precipitation-hardened alloy. Compared to Monel 400, these additions increase its mechanical strength and hardness. It has an elongation of 20%, a yield strength of about 790 MPa, and a tensile strength of up to 1100 MPa. Additionally, Monel K500 continues to exhibit exceptional resistance to corrosion, particularly in chemical and marine environments. The alloy is appropriate for demanding applications because it functions consistently at below-freezing temperatures and becomes non-magnetic upon annealing.
