With a reduced carbon content (maximum 0.02%) and an approximate 99.6% nickel composition, Nickel Alloy 201 Channels are perfect for applications requiring high temperatures. Small amounts of iron, manganese, silicon, copper, and sulphur are among the other elements. Even at elevated temperatures, this alloy maintains exceptional malleability and ductility. It has an elongation of 45%, a yield strength of 11,000 psi (76 MPa), and a tensile strength of about 50,000 psi (345 MPa). It is appropriate for chemical environments exposed to high temperatures because of its low carbon content, which improves resistance to intergranular attack.
