About 76% nickel and 19.5% chromium make up Nimonic 80A, a nickel-chromium alloy with trace amounts of carbon, titanium, and aluminium added for precipitation hardening. The alloy retains its structural integrity at temperatures as high as 815°C and has a tensile strength of about 965 MPa.
