Chromium-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel 202 coil is a low-nickel substitute for 304. In addition to trace amounts of carbon, silicon, and nitrogen, it normally contains 17–19% chromium, 4–6% nickel, and 7.5–10.5% manganese. This alloy has good formability, good weldability, and moderate corrosion resistance.
