With a maximum carbon content of 0.08%, stainless steel 304 is an austenitic alloy made up of 18–20% chromium and 8–10.5% nickel. Excellent corrosion resistance is provided by this composition, particularly in oxidising environments. The yield strength of SS 304 circles is roughly 205 MPa, and their tensile strength ranges from 515 to 750 MPa. The material is perfect for a variety of fabrication processes because of its good ductility, formability, and weldability. It retains its mechanical strength and resistance to oxidation at low and moderately high temperatures while being non-magnetic when annealed.
