Excellent thermal stability is offered by 310S, which has a tensile strength of 520–750 MPa, a yield strength of about 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. The alloy retains its structure and functionality in a variety of industrial applications when heated cyclically. Both hot and cold working processes can use it.
