The composition of stainless steel 316 circles, which includes 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, improves corrosion resistance, particularly in environments with high chloride levels. It also contains trace amounts of silicon, manganese, and carbon (≤0.08%). Mechanically, SS 316 circles have an elongation of about 40%, a yield strength of roughly 205 MPa, and a tensile strength of 515–700 MPa. It has exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion thanks to the addition of molybdenum.
