The main constituents of Stainless Steel 321 Sheets and Plates, which are austenitic stainless steels stabilised by titanium, are chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), and titanium (≥5xC% min). After being exposed to high temperatures, this alloy exhibits exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion. It has good elongation and toughness, with a yield strength of about 205 MPa and a tensile strength of about 515 MPa. It is perfect for welding and high-temperature settings because titanium increases its resistance to carbide precipitation.
