The stabilised austenitic stainless steel alloy known as Stainless Steel 347H Channel has a higher carbon content (~0.04–0.10%) than 347 and contains 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and columbium (niobium) for stabilisation. Creep resistance and high-temperature strength are improved by this improved composition. It has outstanding yield strength (~205 MPa), tensile strength (~515 MPa), and 40% elongation.
