Stainless Steel 440C Circle is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel alloy with trace amounts of silicon, manganese, and molybdenum, as well as roughly 1.0% carbon and 16–18% chromium. It has a moderate resistance to corrosion and is well-known for its remarkable tensile strength (about 760 MPa) and hardness (up to 60 HRC). This grade is perfect for high-stress situations because it has exceptional wear and abrasion resistance.
