This composition provides superior strength, resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 750 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, and an elongation of 25%. Its dual-phase microstructure (50% austenite and 50% ferrite) delivers superior mechanical properties—tensile strength of ~795 MPa and yield strength of ~550 MPa.
