The high-alloy duplex stainless steel Super Duplex Steel S32760 has a well-balanced austenite and ferrite composition. 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, 0.2–0.3% nitrogen, and trace elements like copper and tungsten make up its usual composition. Excellent mechanical qualities are provided by this alloy, which has a minimum tensile strength of 750 MPa, a yield strength of 550 MPa, and a 25% elongation. S32760 is perfect for high-pressure systems and aggressive chloride-containing environments because of its high PREN (>40), which guarantees exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
