Made from ≥99.95% pure tungsten, tungsten foil is processed into incredibly thin sheets that are normally between 0.05 and 0.2 mm thick. It has a tensile strength of 400–800 MPa, a high melting point of 3422°C, and a density of 19.3 g/cm³.
